Building for times of great change
Upekha Ventures is a values-based organization exploring what work looks like when equanimity is the foundation. We build small, trusted teams doing meaningful work—treating every project as practice.
Read the ManifestoWhat we are
In periods of rapid change—technological, societal, personal—the ground shifts beneath our feet. Most organizations respond with urgency, speed, and scale. We believe there's another way.
Upekha is named for the ancient concept of equanimity: a calm steadiness that doesn't depend on circumstances. It's the one thing you can hold onto when everything else is moving.
We're building a network of small ventures, each run by trusted teams with real ownership. These micro-organizations support each other, share resources, and operate from a foundation of shared values rather than shared pressure.
What we believe
- Noble friendship is the whole of the path. We build as friends committed to each other's growth—supporting practice, holding each other accountable, and doing meaningful work together.
- Small is powerful. Nimble teams can respond, adapt, and care in ways that large organizations cannot.
- Work can be practice. Every project, every interaction, every difficult conversation is an opportunity for cultivation.
- Trust compounds. When people share values and treat each other well, collaboration becomes effortless over time.
- Service transforms. Work oriented toward helping others changes the person doing it.
- Competence matters. Values without execution is wishful thinking. We seek people who are both on the path and able to build.
How it works
Upekha Ventures operates as a constellation of small teams, each focused on a specific brand, product, or service. These ventures may look different from the outside—an AI consultancy, a marketing studio, a software tool—but share common infrastructure, values, and support.
Core team members have meaningful equity and real responsibility. When a marketing team inside our network is excellent, other ventures can rely on them. When someone develops deep expertise, it benefits everyone.
If you encounter one of our ventures in the wild, you might not know we're behind it. That's by design. This site exists for the people who want to understand the philosophy—and perhaps join us.
Is this resonating?
We're looking for people who are serious about practice and capable of building. If that's you, we'd like to hear from you.
